I'm thrilled to share that some of my photographs are featured in Porto Resounds: Sound, Space and Change, episode 23th of the Timezones podcast series, produced by Sandra Pereira (aka Narsadia) and published by Norient.
The episode is a deep listening into Porto's current musical and cultural moment. Through conversations with sound artists, experimental musicians, composers, and the curators and venues that sustain them, Narsadia asks a pressing question: as tourism reshapes the city and rents push communities out, is Porto's sonic identity being lost, renewed, or rewritten?
The episode features remarkable voices from the city's underground: Pedro Melo Segurado of Fiasco Porto, Alexandre Soares, Gustavo Costa of Sonoscopia, Paula Lopes of Hotelier, and Luca Massolin of 8mm Records. A constellation of people who have been quietly, stubbornly, keeping Porto's experimental culture alive.
It was an honour to contribute visual work to this episode!
